Rebecca Love, LCAT, BC-DMT, RYT received her Master of Science from Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, NY. She is board certified with the American Dance/Movement Therapy Association and a licensed creative arts therapist and certified yoga teacher. She received her B.A. in dance and psychology from Hunter College in New York City. In 2022 she completed the 1 year Psychodynamic Psychotherapy Certificate at The National Psychological Association for Psychoanalysis. Rebecca has continued her study of body oriented therapy and is trained in Emotional Freedom Technique Level 1+2 (EFT/Tapping) and completed training as an Authentic Movement Practitioner. Most recently, she has received training in level 1 EMDR, an effective treatment for trauma recovery. Her experience includes work with a wide range of clientele but she is currently most passionate about working with folks healing from trauma, relationship/family issues and mood disorders such as anxiety and depression. In addition to her clinical work, Rebecca is a visiting professor at Pratt Institute in the creative arts therapy department.
